Management Company Advice

With any major mixed use development you want to put in place a structure that will ensure the smooth operation, control and marketing/place-making of the destination for many years to come.  The management company, should be able to adapt to the changing needs of the properties, the occupier and those in the wider community who visit or are impacted by the scheme.

A structure needs to be put in place that provides a clear framework for the management of the scheme has accountability to those who are both in ownership and occupation and is also properly resourced and funded to undertake this important role.

After working for and advising on the formation of many management companies I am able to share my experience to assist clients in the operation and set up of companies to deal with a variety of property related scenarios.

This can include the following:

  • The type of legal structure to consider

  • Developer involvement and exit strategy

  • Roles and responsibilities services provided

  • Covenants and enforcement

  • Voting rights and procedures

  • Possible income streams available

  • Future variation in the extent of the estate or services.

As advised I am experienced in the operation of management companies and able assist with the running of existing companies or provide guidance should there be any specific problems which are being experienced.
